Summer Capper (who also goes by Summer Friend) is a Texas based comic artist and illustrator. They focus on queer narratives in horror, loving how the two so perfectly intertwine. They are constantly writing, and have far to many stories in their brain.

In their free time, they love reading comics, playing D&D, and explaining how Risograph printers work to unsuspecting people.

They graduated from MICA with a BFA in illustration in 2024 and were nominated for the Society of Illustrators Will Eisner Scholarship in 2023 for their work in comics.
